The Premier League required a wireless communication system for coach development that was portable, easy to use and could support devices for multiple presenters and listeners.
The systems are used to ‘mic up’ Coaches that provide live training sessions on a football pitch outdoors, so Observers at the side lines can hear the interactions between coach staff with more clarity.
The digital TT 200 system is programmed to Discussion Mode, so the Coaches can speak to and hear each other, and Observers can only hear the Coaches.
The Coaches are each supplied with a Tourtalk TT 200-T and headset. The Observers are issued with a Tourtalk TT 200-R receiver and earphones. This assists everybody in hearing each other over background noise from adjacent training sessions, as well as reducing strain on the Coaches voices.
The system can be configured to suit different training scenarios from one large system to multiple smaller systems, simply by changing the channels on each device.
As the entire system is wireless (it does not require mains power or a base station), it can be used anywhere, without restrictions.
