Tourtalk system for tourism

The Tourtalk tour guide system is used for tourism tours where the guide needs to speak to a group without raising their voice. As the system has no base station and is completely wireless, the group are not restricted to a particular location. They can use the system anywhere, indoors or outdoors.

The guide speaks (or can even whisper) into a miniature microphone connected to a bodypack transmitter. Their voice is then transmitted up to 120m in all directions.

Each tourist then listens to the guide’s message via a lightweight earpiece connected to a bodypack receiver. As each member of the tour group has a receiver, they can adjust their personal volume.

Both the transmitter and receivers can be used hands-free. This is useful if the tour involves any physical activity such as trail walking, scrambling or climbing.

Safari tour

The equipment enables the guide to be clearly heard without having to compete with wind, noise or distance, or disturbing the surrounding area. As the system is unobtrusive it is perfect for wildlife observation at zoos/wildlife parks, on safari, bird watching or walking holidays.
