Tour guide system for new recycling facility

We have supplied a Tourtalk tour guide system for use at a new state-of-the-art multi-purpose recycling facility (MRF).

We were approached by SUEZ because they regularly provide site tours for businesses, authorities and government officials around their site, and had difficulty in relaying information due to the noise of the equipment.

The system comprises of a wireless transmitter with headband microphone for the tour guide.

The visitors are each issued with a wireless receiver with neckband headphones, to enable head protection to be worn.

The transmitter and receivers are recharged in a portable storage case.

The tour guide system ensures the visitors hear every word whilst reducing strain on the tour guide’s voice.

All portable Tourtalk transmitters and receivers are supplied with a lanyard as standard, so the entire system can be used hands-free.

The new £27 million MRF is the country’s most advanced and is capable of processing 20 tonnes of mixed recycling an hour, including glass, cardboard, paper, plastics and metals. For more information on SUEZ click here.
