Tourtalk Systems supplied to another Fire and Rescue Service

We have supplied Tourtalk Command Training Systems to another Fire and Rescue Service. The systems will be used to assist observers in hearing crew members during training drills.

The crew member is issued with a wireless Tourtalk transmitter and microphone. They are told to describe what they are doing whilst conducting their allocated task.

The observers are each issued with a lightweight receiver and single earphone to hear the trainee’s voice. As the single earphone only covers one ear, the other ear is still exposed to enable the observers to discuss the event and hear any potential hazards such as reversing vehicles.

The observers can monitor the trainee from low level even when the trainee is on a ladder or training tower.
